Jack Raymond Parker

April 28, 1928 — August 26, 2020

On Wednesday, August 26, 2020 Jack Raymond Parker peacefully left this earth and joined his many loved ones in Heaven.
Jack was born April 28, 1928 in San Antonio, Texas to Raymond and Addie Woodley Parker. Jack lived a long, full, and joyous life. He was well known in the metroplex and surrounding areas as one of the best body men in the car business. He and Cheryl built many other businesses, one of which we still enjoy as the Mingus Quick Stop. Jack proudly served his country in WWII and was a 32º Shriner.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Johnny; sister, Jean Church; both of his beloved sons, Greg and Scott; and nephew, Mike Frank.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Cheryl Parker; stepson, Chris Van Bramer; niece, Sandra Rogers; and many extended family members and dear friends.
Due to the covid outbreak there will be no visitation. A very casual gravesite service will be held August 29th at 10:00 AM at the Old Gordon Cemetery.
