Jack Robinson

Jack C. Robinson, 63, of Eastland, passed away at home on Sunday, June 17, 2012 in Eastland. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 3rd, 2012 at the Church of God of Prophecy in Ranger, TX with a luncheon following.

Mr. Robinson was born December 20, 1948 in Crane, TX to D.C. and Elwanda (Galloway) Robinson. He served in the U.S. Navy Nuclear Submarine Fleet from 1967 until 1980 when he was honorably discharged. He married Emily Simpson on May 18, 1985 in Alloway, NJ. They were married for 27 years. He lived in many states before moving to the Eastland area 11 years ago. He was a contract mechanical engineer. He was a member of the VFW, DAV.

Survivors include his wife, Emily Robinson; a son, Sean Robinson; 3 daughters, Lona Lyons, Michelle Robinson Hernandez and Yolanda Robinson; a brother, Mikel Robinson; a step-brother, Lee Clark; 3 sisters, Lisa Squires, Leann Hubbards and Lori Cook; a step-sister, Cindy Clark; 9 grandchildren and more relatives.
