James Arthur Alsabrook, a beloved father, grandfather, and Army veteran, peacefully passed away at the age of 86 in Ranger, TX on November 23, 2024. Born on March 26, 1938, in Gorman, TX to William Alsabrook and Millie (Ables) Taylor, James dedicated his life to his work as a welder in the oilfield industry, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. James was a biker and enjoyed riding his Road Glide Harley Davidson. He also enjoyed fishing and the great outdoors. James greatest joy in life was his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, spending time with them sharing stories of his past.
He is survived by his sons, Terry Alsabrook and wife, Paula and JD Evans, and his cherished grandchildren, Darren Alsabrook and wife, Xiqoyu Jin, Robby Alsabrook and wife, Rachel, Starla Bint and husband, Paden and Destiny Noel and companion, Fabian Rodriguez as well as eight great-grandchildren, Knox, Matt, Zane, Simon, Alice, Raina, Raiden and Carter. James proudly served his country in the United States Army, during the Vietnam Conflict, enlisting on July 31, 1961, and reaching the rank of Pvt before his honorable discharge on July 10, 1964.

James was preceded in death by his mother, Millie Taylor; son, James Alsabrook, Jr. and brother, William Alsabrook.
