James Robert (Bob) Coupland passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018 in Lone Camp, Texas. He was born September 1, 1930 in Eldorado, Oklahoma to James Marion and Annie Leona Coupland. He served in the Army during the Korean War from June 25, 1950 to July 27, 1953. He married Louise “Allene” Coupland on December 31, 1954 in Baytown, Texas. He was an independent construction contractor. He was preceded in death by his parents, grand-daughter, Tiffany Lynn Coupland, and son-in-law, Larry O’Neil. Survivors include: Wife, Allene Coupland of the home; Sons, Gary Coupland (Vicki) and Larry Coupland; Daughters, Leslie Carnahan and Jo Lynn O’Neil; Grandchildren, Michael Carnahan, Crystal Corse, Robert O’Neil, Jacey Mattison (Jake), Jessica Spencer (Kade), and Tanner Coupland; Great-grandchildren, Jordan O’Neil, Teegan Carnahan, Tucker Carnahan, Maddux Coupland, Therran Spencer, and Charlotte Mattison; Brothers, Don Coupland (Clara) and Bill Coupland (Pam). Sister, Glenna McCrary; and extended family including cousins and friends. Visitation will be Friday, July 27, 2018 from 6-8 pm at Lone Camp Baptist Church. Graveside service will be Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 9 am, immediately followed (9:30 am) by a Celebration of Life and a meal at the Lone Camp Community Center.
