EASTLAND – James William “Bill” Hughes, 44 of Burleson and formerly of Eastland, passed away Friday April 28, 2017. Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm on May 4th at Pathway Baptist Church in Burleson, TX with Pastor Rick Owen officiating. Flowers may be delivered to: 325 NW Renfro Burleson, TX 76028.
Bill was born April 8, 1973 in Long Beach, CA to James Edward Hughes, Jr and Nancy Diane (Jacobs) Hughes. He graduated from Eastland High School in 1991.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Rudy “Grap,” and his grandma, Rosa “Gram”; his father, Jim on November 5, 2003; a nephew, Hayden Andrew Hughes, on April 20, 2005; and by his mother, Nancy, on August 13, 2008.
Survivors include a son, Hunter Hughes; four daughters, Hailey, Harlie Kay, Havin Lea, and Henzlie Hughes; a brother, Greg Hughes and wife Teresa; a sister, Kristy Hughes; a nephew, Bailey Hughes, and two nieces, Gracie Hughes and Presley Hughes.
