Janet Lucille Green

RANGER – Janet Lucille Green, age 63 years young, went home to be with the Angels in Heaven Tuesday, August 21, 2018 after a battle with cancer. A memorial service for Janet was held at Church of God of Prophecy at 5:30 pm Thursday, August 30th.
Janet was born October 15, 1954 in Delano, CA to Vernon Cecil and Elainia Armina Albertson Nelson. She was a high school graduate. She spent the last several years in Ranger, TX.
Janet loved the Lord and enjoyed reading the Bible. She also loved the outdoors, fishing, backyard BBQs and going to whatever events her grandchildren were involved in at the time. Janet also enjoyed watching football especially the Dallas Cowboys. Her greatest love and joy came from her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Logan Bendel of Parkdale, OR, daughters; Stephanie Witt and husband Cody Arbuckle of Parkdale, OR, Paula Lira and husband Nick of Bakersfield, CA, and Breanne Perez and husband James of Ranger TX, brother, Vernon Wayne Nelson of Bakersfield, CA and Patricia Witt of OR. She is also survived by grandchildren; Mark Hicks (Turney) and wife Desiree Dent, Bradley Turney, Gage Turney, Kadyn Turney, Patyn Lindhorst, Joe Arbuckle, Keenon Bendel, Jayme Bendel, Jackson Bendel, Karissa Lira, Kendra Rucker, Kyler Perez, Kaylea Perez, and Kelsey Perez and 3 great grandkids; Elias Faughn, Isabelle Hicks and Ashir Hicks.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Amy Howard and son-in law, Jackie Turney.
