Jeannetta Lois West

Jeannetta Lois West went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 9, 2025 at the age of 96. She was born in Battle Cheek, Michigan on January 22, 1928 to Virgie and Charles Hollister. She married the love of her life Donald Merill West on January 5, 1946 in Battle Creek Michigan. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; Virgie and Charles Hollister, husband; Donald West, daughters; Brenda Hearn and Joan Ragan, grandson; Donald Ventura, granddaughter; Tammy Ritter, seven sisters, four brothers and five sons-in-law. 

She is survived by her daughters; Charlene Mitchell of Eastland, Texas, Deborah Garringer of Livermore, Colorado, Victoria Foster of McAlester, Oklahoma, Dawn Hazelwood of Eastland, Texas and Melodie Roan and husband, David of Cisco, Texas. She was a proud grandmother of 16 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 29 great great grandchildren. 

Viewing will be Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home. Services will be at 2:00 PM January 16, 2025 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Eastland City Cemetery following the service.
