Jerry Don Johnston, 71 of Cisco, passed away Sunday September 17, 2017 in Abilene. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Merriman Cemetery in Ranger, directed by Edwards Funeral Home of Ranger.
Mr. Johnston was born December 7, 1945 in Ranger, TX to Bill W. Johnston and Ima Mae (Pruitt) Johnston. He married Phillis Stewart on August 3, 1964 in Olden. He worked in the oil field and attended Leon River Cowboy Church.
Survivors include his wife, Phillis Johnston; a son, Gerald Johnston (Kiri); 2 daughters, Donna Alford (Greg) and Sheila Spradlin (Jason); a brother, Roger Dale Johnston; 3 sisters, Gladys Walker, Joann Kinder, and Mary Choate; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
