Jimmie Kurk Randall was born September 28, 1958 in Houston, Texas to Jimmie Rex Randall and Evalyn Pool Randall. He went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 17, 2023 at the age of 64. He was a much-loved son, husband, father and grandfather. He was proceeded in death by his father, Jimmie Rex Randall.
Kurk had the special gift of creativity. Forty years ago, he invented The Original Cowboy Toy. It has brought smiles, and fun times to so many people, and continues to do so. He had such a unique way of looking at things; numerous times he would look at something and figure out a better or easier way to do it. His creativity did not stop there. He made western art in the form of mirrors, benches, rocking chairs, hat racks, lamps, tables, the list goes on. Kurk loved everything about a horse. He went to farrier school right out of high school. Team roping was a big part of his life. Not only did he participate as a roper, he also built his own arena (Pool School House Arena) and successfully produced team roping’s. Anything that had to do with being outside and nature he enjoyed. He loved to laugh and tell stories, which made everyone around him laugh.
Kurk loved his family and is survived by his mother, Evalyn Randall, wife, Leslie Randall, daughter, Raquel Randall, grandson, G.W. Crew, and son-in-law, Curtis Crew. He truly loved being a grandfather and enjoyed every minute he had with G.W.
