Ranger – Jimmy D. Cole age 69, passed from this life Saturday, May 16, 2020, at his home with his loving family by his side.
Jimmy was born November 28, 1950, in Ranger, TX to Clarence Junior Cole and Janet Maxine Brawner Cole. He was a lifelong resident of Ranger and attended Ranger schools. In fact that is where he met and married Miss Shirley Ann Rose on August 15, 1969.
Jimmy was a truck driver by trade, working for Triple T Trucking before retirement. Once a trucker always a trucker, as shown in his love of traveling in the family RV to the mountains, especially to Dubois, WY. He also loved his family and precious granddaughters. He was a member of the Merriman Baptist Church
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Shirley Cole, son; Stacy Cole and husband Brian Hewitt-Cole, daughter; Kristi Cole, granddaughters; Josephine and Jacqueline Cole, brother; Jerry Cole and wife Ann Cole. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Maxine Cole.
As per Jim’s wishes, he will be cremated and will be laid to rest in the Merriman Cemetery at a later date.
