Jo Ann Tinkle

Jo Ann Tinkle, 66 of Eastland, passed away Sunday November 18, 2018 at her residence. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24th at the First Baptist Church in Eastland with Rev. Kevin Burrow officiating and Mandi Whittlesey and Larry Wesson on the music. The family will receive friends after the service at the church.
Jo Ann was born on June 25, 1952 in Albuquerque, NM to Joe R. Kirkpatrick and Barbara Ann (Worthy) Kirkpatrick. After high school, she married James E. Tinkle on December 12, 1968 in Waco, TX. He preceded her in death, as well as her parents. She worked as a Purchasing Agent for the Government.
Survivors include 2 sons, James Tinkle and wife Barbara; and Jeff Tinkle and wife Sherry; 2 sisters, Mary Lou Howard, and Judy Elliott; bother, Joey grandchildren, Jacob Tinkle, Victoria Tinkle, Luke Tinkle, Lance Tinkle, Lane Tinkle; bonus grandchildren, Bailley Peacock, Emilianna Contreras, and Nathan Fron; great-grandchildren, Madeylnn Gosnell, and Jepson Tinkle; bonus great-grandchildren, Brayden Stephenson, and Chase Stephenson; nieces, Jessica Howard, Morgan Sanderson, Devon Hunter, Candice Hammitt, Courtney Elliott; nephews, Bobby Tinkle, Lance Tinkle, and Miguel Howard; many great-nieces & nephews; and her beloved dog, Maggie.
Memorial donations in her name may be made to the local Humane Society.
