Joan Maureen Casey

Joan Maureen Casey, 81 of Ranger, passed away November 28, 2022. She was born December 8, 1940 in Beaumont, Texas to Paul M. McLaughlin and Lexi Hill McLaughlin. She was a proud military wife to Ben Casey for 27 years. They were married on June 5, 1960 in Borger, Texas.
Joan will always be known for and loved for her pecan pies and the receipe will remain a secret. She was a mother/homemaker who raised goats, enjoyed needlework, reading as well as loved raising flowers and her children. Joan loved people and never met a stranger. Her favorite people were her children and babies, especially her grand-children. They were her world and she loved them more than they will ever know.
Survivors include her husband, Ben Casey; sons, Phillip Casey and Gary Casey; a daughter, Brenda Miller; and a sister, Marie Avery; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed and forever loved.
