Joanna Mae Hooper went home to Heaven to be with her Lord, Thursday, April 1, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Services for Joanna will be 11 am, Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Merriman Baptist Church in Ranger, TX. Family and friends will gather from 5 – 7 PM Monday, April 5 at Edwards Funeral Home 411 S. Mulberry, Eastland, TX.
Joanna was born February 7, 1952 in San Angelo, TX to Weldon and Ermon Alberta (Birdie) McGinty Kleiner. On July 9th, 1969 Joanna married Bro. Jerry Hooper in Eastland, TX. Joanna was a full-time wife and loving mother to 7 beautiful children.
Joanna temporarily leaves behind her loving husband of 51 years, Jerry, sons; JD Hooper, John Hooper, Deric Hooper, Daughters; Christy Vass, Virginia Howard, Misty Hidrogo and Elizabeth Jones, brothers; Bill Kleiner, John Kleiner and Kelly Lathrop, Rusty Cothren, sisters; Niana Kohler, Elaine Kleiner, Rebecca Rich and KayLynne Kleiner, 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 4 more on the way.
