Jose Manuel Ochoa

EASTLAND: Jose Manuel Ochoa, 70, died peacefully at a Fort Worth hospice after a brief illness surrounded by his loving wife and family members on Wednesday Aug. 6, 2014.
Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Sunday August 10, 2014 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Eastland, Texas. Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Saturday at Edwards Funeral Home.
Manuel was born in Mascota Jalisco, Mexico on December 14, 1943 to Marie de Jesus and Trinidad Ochoa. He married his wife of 40 years on October 20, 1973. After working and living in California for many years they moved to Eastland in 2009. They were able to achieve their dream of owning a small ranchito and raising cattle. They also indulged their love of Texas rodeos by traveling throughout the state to attend countless rodeos both large and small.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jesus and sisters, Margarita and Martha.
Survivors: His beloved and loyal wife, Rosie Jimenez Ochoa, brothers, Trini and Mario, and sisters, Amelia, Aurora and Stella.
