Joseph Van Swain, 62, passed away on April 22, 2020, in Fort Worth, Texas. “Joey” was born on June 24, 1957, in Seymour, Texas, to Earnest Clifton “Cliff” Swain and Lillie Doris Sessions Swain.
Joey attended Snyder Junior College and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Tarleton State University. Joey had been employed as Ranch Manager for Brack Ranch for the past 29 years.
Joey is survived by sons Casey Swain and wife Cortney, John Leven and wife Sarah, James Leven and wife Allie, Sister, Becky Giddens and husband Randy, Maternal Aunt, Joye Sessions Walling and Husband Tom, very special friend Josie McLendon, Nephew Tim Carpenter,nine beautiful grandchildren (Mack, Echo, Larke, Jadyn, Jocelyn, Mayleigh, Cooper, Jaxon, and Jase), and numerous cousins and extended family.
Joey was preceded in death by his father, Clifton Swain, mother, Doris Swain, and son, Cody Ross Swain.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association in Joey’s honor.
