Joy Lee Minyard Reasoner

Joy Lee Reasoner, 90 of Arlington, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 in Arlington. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22nd at the Doty Cemetery in Gordon.
Mrs. Reasoner was born on July 7, 1927 in Thurber, TX to Harvey Lee Minyard and Joy Fay (Booth) Minyard. She grew up in Mingus, going to High School in Gordon TX. She married James Estell Reasoner on August 19, 1947 in Palo Pinto County. He preceded her in death on October 8, 2015. She was a Baptist. She was a homemaker and worked at First Christian Church in Arlington in the Mother’s Day Out program for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, quilting, crocheting, gardening, as well as cooking, sewing and doing crafts. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Ina Faye McGinnis.
Survivors include a son, Harvey Edward (Dee) Reasoner of Arlington; a daughter, Patricia (John) Gregg of Granbury; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
