Juanita (Janie) Leal Ponce, 58, of Ranger, Texas went on to be with her heavenly father Friday, August 9, 2013 while sleeping in her home.
Janie was born December 13, 1954 to Thomas and Mary (Molina) Leal in Beeville, Texas. She grew up and went to school in Deleon, Texas. Juanita then married Sixto Ponce February 14, 1983 in Eastland, Texas. They have been in Ranger, Texas since 1979 where they lived and raised their children.
She was a very loving and doting wife, mother, and grandmother. Janie would do anything for her family, even if it meant sacrificing for herself. Her family meant everything to her.
Janie is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Leal.
She is survived by her husband of thirty years; her mother: Mary Leal; her two sons: Abraham Ponce; Tony Ponce; her daughter: Mary Ponce; her brothers: Thomas Leal; Augustine Leal; George Leal; 5 grandchildren; and a host of other friends and relatives.
Services will be held Monday, August 12, 2013 at the Edwards Funeral Chapel in Ranger, Texas with burial to follow out at Evergreen cemetery in Ranger, Texas.
