Judy Lynn Ritchey

Judy Lynn Ritchey, age 69 went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, November 15, 2018 at her home in Ft. Worth. Services for Judy will be 2 pm Sunday, November 25th at the Leon River Cowboy Church in Olden, Texas. Family and friends will gather Saturday from 5 – 7pm, November 24th at Edwards Funeral Home, 211 Pine St. Ranger, Texas.
Judy was born April 28, 1949 in Bell, CA to Willie Lee and Jessie Lou Allen Sipes. She was a graduate of Bishop High School in Bishop, CA. In October of 1987 Judy moved to Texas with her two kids and settled in Ranger, TX. Most people know Judy as a waitress but she was a jack of all trades and enjoyed working and staying busy. On April 10, 1993 Judy married Sammy Ray Ritchey in Las Vegas in the “Love at the Plaza Chapel”; he preceded her in death October 18, 2002.
Judy was a social person who enjoyed golf and gambling. She loved getting to go to the Windstar Casino and sitting for hours playing the slots. She loved her family and her friends and was always up for a “get together”.
Judy is survived by her children; son, Jason Bernard and partner Kevin Dunne of Ft. Worth and her daughter Jami Ingram and husband Ronnie of Cisco. Grandchildren; Kody Ingram, Alissa Wooldridge (Daniel), Kaycee Ingram, and Jayson Bernard. Brothers; Marvin Sipes and wife Katrin of Ranger, Randy Sipes and Michael Galvin both of Bishop, CA., and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Sammy, daughter-in-law Tammy Bernard and sisters-in-law Sandra and Susan Sipes.
