EASTLAND – Karleigh Ann Cox, age 4 lost her life in a house fire in Eastland early on a Saturday, December 16, 2017. Services for Karleigh will be at 2 pm Saturday, December 30 at the First United Methodist Church at 215 S. Mulberry St. Eastland, TX for close family and friends. Family and friends will gather Friday from 6-8 pm at Edwards Funeral Home at 411 S. Mulberry in Eastland. Burial will be at the Eastland City Cemetery.
Karleigh was born on June 17, 2013 in Mineral Wells, TX to Kaylea Carroll and Jeremy Cox. She was a beautiful and vivacious little lady who lived her short life to the fullest. She was always quick to love those around her but even though she was tiny she was a fierce protector or her older sister and little brother. Karleigh was always happy rarely stopped in her exploring the wonderful world around her.
She is survived by her loving parents Jeremy Cox and Kaylea Carroll, sister Emily Carroll, brother Jaythen Osteen, and step brother Grayson Barton, maternal grandparents; Charles Carroll and wife Angela, Kristen Carroll, paternal grandparents; Deborah Cox and Willy Cox, great grandmother, Shirley Ables and great grandfather, Joy Cox.
Karleigh is preceded in death by great grandparents; David Willoughby and Zelma Willoughby, and Jerald Ables.
