OLDEN – Kathleen Kincheloe Jackson, age 53 years young, passed from this life Monday, April 23, 2018 at her home. As per Kathleen’s request, she will be cremated under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Eastland. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00 PM Friday, April 27 at the home of Travis and Loretta Elmore at 13678 HWY 6, Eastland, TX.
Kathleen was born Dora Kathleen Kincheloe on September 23, 1964 in Pomona, CA to Bobby Gene and June Baker Kincheloe and came to Texas as soon as they could. She was a graduate of Eastland High School and worked as a cook for her alma mater as an adult. Kathleen married Daniel Jackson October 28, 1982 in Eastland County between Eastland and Cisco.
Kathleen was fun, friendly and outgoing. She enjoyed playing Bunco with the Bunco ladies and loved doing lots of crafts of all kinds. But after doing so many crafts Kathleen began going to different craft vender events to sell many of her wonderful creations. Kathleen was also very active in the community attending and being a part of CASA and Children Advocacy groups. She loved kids and knew life has to be about the kids.
She is preceded in death by her father Bob Kincheloe.
She is survived by her loving husband Daniel Jackson, Sr., and her mother June Kincheloe, sons; Daniel Jackson, Jr. and wife Susana, Douglas Jackson and fiancé Sabrina Rubio, and daughter Veronica Jackson and fiancé Cody Clark, and 11 grandchildren she loved with all her heart, all of the Eastland area. She is also survived by brothers; Cliff Kincheloe and wife Kathy of Abilene, Roy Kincheloe and wife Glenda of Ft. Worth and Bobby Kincheloe of Big Spring, and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
