Kay Anthony Green, born on July 13, 1950, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on March 19, 2025. A beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Daughter and Friend, Kay lived life singing, playing piano, painting, working in her gardens, loving on her many dogs, playing with her Grandchildren, spending time with her friends and her loving Husband, Royce, of 30 years. Kay retired from Texas Instruments in Dallas after 27 years, mainly working in the Purchasing Department where she thrived in a group setting with her co-workers which became her second family. Upon retirement, Kay and Royce moved full time to their lake house on Palo Pinto Lake, their sanctuary. She cherished the moments fishing, gardening and up-keep on the house with Royce. One of her favorite things was hosting family and friends there. Kay is preceded in life by her mother and father, Helon Berle Cowels Anthony and Rex Roby Anthony of Mira, Louisiana, her brother-in-law, Howell L. Cheatham "Buddy", of McKinney, Texas, along with a sister-in-law and several brothers-in-law. She is survived in death by husband Royce Green of Palo Pinto, Texas; daughter & son-in-law Shannon & Ian Savitch of Plano, Texas; daughter Melinda Morgan of New York, New York; step-daughter Shannon Green of Palo Pinto, Texas; step-son & daughter-in-law Stephen &Veronica Green of Carrollton, Texas; grandchildren Jaymeson Walker & Aiden Savitch of Plano, Texas; Morgan Savitch of Dallas, Texas; sister Linda Cheatham of McKinney, Texas; sister & brother-in-law Kathy & Aubrey Rogers of Plano, Texas; brother & sister-in-law Wayne & Ronda Anthony of Mira, Louisiana; and many friends. Kay's Memorial Service will be held April 12th 2025 at Edwards Funeral Home, 215 E. Housley Street, Strawn, Texas 76475 at 1:00 PM. There will be a gathering immediately following the ceremony at the Lone Camp Community Center, 7260 S FM 4, Santo, Texas 76484. Flowers or in-lieu of flowers, a donation to the SPCA of Texas is welcomed.
