Kita Irene Pontremoli

Kita Irene Pontremoli, 94, of Fort Worth and formerly of Strawn, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in Fort Worth. Rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Edwards Funeral Home in Strawn. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John’s Catholic Church in Strawn. Burial will follow in the Davidson Cemetery.
Mrs. Pontremole was born January 18, 1920 in Strawn to Enrico and Irene (Bordignon) Visentine. She married Maurice (Mugs) Pontremoli on April 27, 1946 in Mineral Wells. He preceded her in death on February 2, 1979. She had been a member of the PTO, Royal Neighbor’s, St. John’s Altar Society, and served as Secretary/Treasurer of the Davidson Cemetery.
Survivors include her son, Michael Pontremoli of Fort Worth; daughter, Beth Pontremoli of Watauga; granddaughter, Summer Whitenton of Nashville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
