Kodi was born in Tyler, Texas on September 9, 1987. She married the love of her life Eric on May 5, 2007 in river bottom country off of the Leon River at his grandparents home in Eastland County. Kodi worked hard after having two kids to make it through college and was thrilled when she received her degree as an RN and landed the job she had always wanted - delivering babies and taking care of them. Kodi loved the Lord with all of her heart and we know she is with Him now. Kodi loved to read, play games, watch movies (with a foot rub), hunt, snow board, go tubing, but most of all spending time with her family.
Kodi is survived by her husband Eric Whitlock, her three children; Rileigh, Merrick, and Hadley; parents, Jeff and Donna Wilson and Lisa Wilson; brothers, Matt, JD, and Casey; sisters, Victoria and Katie; grandparents, Frances Adkins, Dick and Nellie Regis, YVaughn Whitlock, and Kay and Royce Cozart; nieces and nephews, Issac, Anthony, Caenan, Waylon; aunts and uncles, Gary and Jan Brown, Arlon Nipp, Buck and Tammy Nipp, Lee Wilson, Carole and John Salisbury, JC Grit, and Dan Regis.
God gained a beautiful soul but it hurts losing her here on earth.
