Landon Jordan, 79, would like to let you know his work here on earth is done. He received a call, a sort of an offer you can't refuse, for an appointment from which he will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with family and friends he has not seen in a long time. His new mission takes him to a place where he will be socializing, dancing, and relaxing with others who have gone before him. Music, laughter, and love are guaranteed. Food is delicious and you never gain an ounce. He left detailed instructions for his children and friends to celebrate his mission here, which is now completed. He will be watching his Cowboys and his boys from the portals of glory.
Landon passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 and we want to let him know he did a great job and wish him a safe journey. We will remember his smile, his warmth, his energy, his love for life, family, and friends. He made a difference in the lives of so many. We invite you to join us and celebrate together.
Arrangements: Life celebration will take place Monday, September 28th from 6-7 pm at Edwards Funeral home, in Eastland, TX. Graveside services will be at 10 am on Tuesday the 29th.
He is survived by his 5 sons, Lanny, Larry, Henry, Chris, and James Jordan, and numerous nieces and nephews and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by, Margaret Powers (sister), JY Jordan, and Bill Jordan (brothers), and our mother Henrietta Jones Duncan.
