Lanora Janice Cummings

LaNora Janice Cummings, 72 of Ranger, passed away Wednesday May 18, 2016 at home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Ronny Guess officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery directed by Edwards Funeral Home of Eastland.
Mrs. Cummings was born on January 27, 1944 in Odessa to Duward Jones and Neoma Hogan Jones. She married Thomas Cummings on August 23, 1963 in Odessa. She was a homemaker, a wonderful seamstress, and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Cummings; 3 sons, T.J. Cummings, Robert Cummings & wife Annette, and Steve & Wendy Cummings; 2 daughters, Karen Johnson & husband Louie, and Cheryl Locke & husband Johnny; 3 brothers, Robert Jones & wife Linda, Stanley Jones & wife Linda, and Dean Jones & wife Gracie; 12 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
