Lawrence Alan Donohoe

Lawrence Alan Donohoe, 82, beloved Spouse and Son, was called to his eternal resting place on May 15, 2023. He entered this world on May 4th, 1941 in Marengo, Iowa, born to J.F. and Rachel Donohoe. Lawrence married Susan Carol Suchy currently of Gordon, Texas on August 10th, 1963 in Des Moines, Iowa.
Lawrence graduated with a BBA in Business-Actuarial Sciences from Drake University and was a System Developer and Systems analyst for IBM, AAA and USAA and owned his own consulting company. He was a volunteer fireman at Lake Palo Pinto and he resided in Gordon, Texas for over 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, J.F. Donohoe; mother, Rachel Donohoe, and sister, Mary Donohoe.
He is survived by his spouse Susan Carol Donohoe; son, Mike and wife Ginger Donohoe of Brock, Texas; daughter, Katy and Eddie Lord of May, Texas and five grandchildren; Morgan Donohoe, Brett Donohoe, Geneva Lord, Sophia Lord and Chloe Lord.
Larry was an avid motorcyclist and took trips with Susan to Utah, Arizona, Tennessee, Arkansas and all over Texas on his Honda Goldwing. He took up long distance running in the 1970’s and liked to bicycle.
