Ledell King Randle "Mama Dell"

LeDell King Randle, ("Mama Dell", 99 yrs), originally from Eastland, went to be with the Lord December 8, 2021 in Arlington, Texas. A visitation will be held Monday, December 13, 2021 from 5-7 PM at Edwards Funeral Home. Services will be held Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Eastland. Burial will follow at the Eastland City Cemetery. Local arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
LeDell was born September 26, 1922 in Hawkins, Texas to Jonie Goodson and Nellie Travis Goodson. She married Roston King whom proceeded her in death and later married Norman Randle, whom also proceeded her in death. Ledell was Caretaker and Housekeeper for the Frost Family for 42 years, was a member of the 1st First Baptist Church of Eastland, N. Seaman Street, First Baptist Church of Eastland, S. Seaman Street, and Friendship West Baptist Church of Dallas. She was an evangelist to all, a singer at all times, was involved in the Red Hat Club, Silver Sneakers, Kiwanas Club, Pioneer of First Baptist Church S. Seaman, and was a devoted Eastland Maverick Fan.
LeDell is survived by her daughter, Janice King Williams (Elliott Williams, Sr.); son, Howard King; chosen daughter, Chris Frost Whiddon ("Red" Whiddon); sister, Earnestine Young (Carl Young);7 grandchildren;10 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Elliott Williams, II, Rosseliot Williams, Johnathon Williams, Russell Williams, Robert Pollard, II, and Anthony Jones. Honorary Pallbearers will be Elliott Williams, III, Jaylen Pollard, Johnathon Williams, II, and Joshua Williams.
