Leola May Cole

Leola May Cole, 93 of Strawn, passed away Monday February 1, 2016 in Stephenville. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the New Gordon Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Edwards Funeral Home in Strawn Wednesday, 6~8 p.m.
Mrs. Cole was born March 2, 1922 in Huckabay to Harman Wylie & Nora Bailey. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ. In her younger days she enjoyed basketball and sports. She was an artist, loved to quilt, and enjoying spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include 2 sons, Clifford and wife Verlee, and Cary and wife Helen; a daughter, Cathy and husband Gene; a sister, Janie; 9 grandchildren, Cindy, Kevin, Clint, Clayton, Brandon, Christopher, Mark, Kyle, and Ben; 3 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchildren.
