Leta Nell Hogan

Leta Nell Hogan, age 82, went to her Heavenly Home Friday, July 23. 2021. Services will be held Monday, July 26th; a visitation will begin at 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home Eastland. Her graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM at Murray Cemetery in Carbon, Texas officiated by Jody Forbus. Pallbearers will be Jacob Schkade, Trey Hogan, Joshua and Jeremy Eaves, Kyle and Rusty Hogan, and James and Jason Hogan.
Leta was born September 15, 1938 in Eastland County to George Andrew Wayne Norris and Edith Adeline Henley Norris. She married Carroll W. Hogan May 28, 1955 in Carbon, Texas, they were married for 66 years and had six children, 12 grandchildren, and 41 great grandchildren. The total of family members is 59 and the extended family make 69. This is her legacy and she loved her family with her whole heart, Leta was a beautiful person full of grace and generosity and will be greatly missed by anyone that knew her.
She is survived by husband, Carroll W. Hogan SR; children, Beia Schkade of Albany, Carroll W. Hogan JR of Albany, Eddy Hogan of Gorman, Elaine Eaves of Albany, Chris Hogan of Albany, and Dale Hogan of Gorman; siblings, Carol Skinner and husband Odis, Gary Norris and his wife Ida, and brother-in-law, Pat Collins; 12 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; and other extended family members. She was proceeded in death by her parents and sister, Patsy Collins.
