Letha Casey, 65 of Ranger, passed away Monday February 13, 2017 in Abilene. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Merriman Cemetery with Chad Gosnell officiating. The family will receive friends at Edwards Funeral Home in Ranger Friday, 6~8 p.m.
Letha was born October 16, 1951 in Wellington, TX to Andrew Gosnell and Georgia Adams Gosnell. She grew up in Cisco and after high school received a Sociology degree from Ranger Jr. College, where she was a member of Beta Kappa. She married Clenneth Ray Casey on September 17, 2007 in Eastland. She worked at Central Bail Bonds until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Darrell Gosnell.
Survivors include her husband, Ray Casey of Ranger; 2 sons, Michael Brett Garner & wife Star of Boerne, and C.J. Evans of Abilene; 4 daughters, Lacey Davlin & husband Bubba of Ranger, Amanda Evans of Breckenridge, Kalisha Casey of Ranger, and Tera Clark of Ranger; 1 brother, Phil Gosnell of Eastland; 2 sisters, Gwyn Simmons of Breckenridge, and Sandra Gosnell of Brownwood; 14 grandchildren, Taylor Garner, Michael Gilbert, Dylan Swan, Ashton Torres, Janessa Williams, Happy Perry, Alyssa Davlin, Kylie Casey, Kyler Casey, Lenoy Evans, Gracie Evans, Jaycee Evans, Shanea Davlin, and Laci J. Davlin; 11 great-grandchildren, Carson Gilbert, Daylon Gilbert, Trenton Jacoby, Jackson Jacoby, Tailynn Davlin, Dixie Davlin, Lyrick Chapa, Jaycie Swan, Rylan Swan, Bobby Swan, and Bristyl Keyser; and several nieces and nephews.
