Lewis Green Jr

Lewis Green of Deleon passed away October 22, 2015 at the DeLeon Nursing Home. He was born August 30, 1922 at Thurber, Texas to Lewis M. Green and Gena Carr Green. He married Gertrude Cook in 1944 after serving honorably in the U.S. Army Air Corps. She preceded him in death in July of 1993. He is survived by his nieces Janice Harbin and Husband Doug of Deleon, Sherry Reisinger of DeLeon, nephew Michael Isbell and Wife Cindy of Brownwood, David Cook and wife Jerri of Midland, and extended family, and a special friend Preacher Ross of Comanche. Mr. Green was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Gena Green,
brothers Bill Green and Gerald Green, and sister Lila Green Isbell. Funeral Services will be held at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM Monday with Bangs Police Chaplain Sgt. Michael Isbell officiating. Internment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery at Ranger in Eastland County, under the direction of the Edwards Funeral Home of Ranger
