EASTLAND - Linda Childs, age 65, passed away on December 19, 2012 in Abilene. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday December 22nd at Tolar Cemetery in Tolar, TX under the direction of the Bakker Funeral Home.
Linda was born on November 13, 1947, to Preston and Bernice (Robison) Goolsby in Morris County, TX. She married Don Childs on January 5, 1979 in Ft. Worth, TX. She was a property adjuster.
She is survived by her husband Don Childs of Eastland; son Mark Lavy and wife Misty of Ft. Worth; three daughters, Stephanie Suffka and husband James of Ft. Worth, Debbie Barron and husband Rick of Whitesboro and Becky Childs of Wichita Falls; brother Steve Goolsby of Wichita Falls; twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
