Lola Mae (Holtz) White departed this earthly life on November 7, 2021, when God called her home.
Mae was born on September 30, 1935 in Coleman, TX. She and her twin sister, Fay, were the 9th and 10th children born to John William and Amanda Elizabeth (Tomlinson) Holtz.
Mae married Jack White on August 10, 1951. They enjoyed 57 years of marriage together living in Coleman, TX, Farmington, NM, Denver, CO, and Eastland, TX. She loved golf, bowling, bridge, cross stitch, quilting, and playing games with her family.
Mae is preceded in death by her husband, Jack White, her parents John and Amanda Holtz, as well as 7 siblings: Hazel Field, Helen Holtz, Dorothy Yates, Grace Griffin, John Holtz, Jr., Olen Holtz, Mary Alice Brown; 2 stepsisters Frankie Ayers and Louise Leone; stepfather Corbett Scott.
Mae is survived by one brother and two sisters: Robert L. Holtz, Fay Hall, and Patricia Burnett; nephews Larry Miller and wife Shawntel, Jason Miller, wife Kristi, and daughters, Kalei, Kennedi, and Karli, as well as many brothers-and-sisters in law. She is also survived by 27 nieces, nephews, and countless greats and cousins.
Mae’s family would like to thank the Woodlands and Solaris Hospice for the care given in her final days. Funeral services will be held at Daugherty Street Church of Christ on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Memorials may be made in her memory to the Eastland Church of Christ, Fosters Home for Children in Stephenville.
