Lora Marie Mcqueary

Lora Marie McQueary, 78 of Strawn went home to be with her Heavenly Father, Wednesday, June 28, 2017. A visitation will be held Saturday, July 1st from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church Strawn, followed by the service at 2 p.m. and burial at Mt. Marion Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Lora was born November 24, 1938 in Strawn, TX to Pete Grabin and Elizabeth Marie (Moore) Grabin. Lora married James “Stug” McQueary September 5, 1955 in Strawn, Texas where they made their home and raised their children; Stug passed away October 3, 2012. The McQueary family would like to thank Solaris Hospice and Mineral Wells Nursing and Rehab for their help and care of their mother.
Survivors include daughters, Kay Striz and husband David and Peggy McQueary; sisters, Betty Nowak and Joy Harris; four grandchildren, Melanie Haney, Angel Hammond, Kaitlyn Striz, and Kelsi Striz; and 9 great-grandchildren.
