Loresta Love Veale

Loresta Love Veale, 72 of Ranger, went home to her Lord & Savior Monday, September 18, 2017. Local arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home Ranger.
Loresta was born May 28, 1945 in Oakland, CA to John Wallace and Lillye Love Wallace. She was raised in the Chaney Community by John & Myrta Rose Love and attended Ranger Schools graduating in 1963. Loresta married Charles “Red” Veale in June 1963 at New Hope Baptist Church in the LaCasa Community. Red preceded her in death October 20, 2004. Loresta enjoyed watching Jeopardy, playing cards, and fishing, plus she loved her Boston Terriers.
She is survived by 3 children; Charla Henson and husband Robert of Olden, TX, Johna Roof and husband Ocie of Weatherford, OK, and Keith Veale of Ranger, TX; 4 grandchildren, Jacob Henson and wife Laura, Heather Henson, Kacie and Oaklie Roof; and sister Carolyn Bender of California.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Ranger Fire Department 500 E. Loop 254 Ranger TX 76470 or the Ranger Task Force Backpack Program PO Box 542 Ranger TX 76470.
