Mae Lynn Burns

Mae Lynn Burns, 62, passed from this life to the next on Wednesday, October 16, 2019. A service will be held on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 10AM at the Eastland City Cemetery Pavilion. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Eastland.
Mae Lynn Burns was born on May 3, 1957 in Eastland, Texas to Doyle W. and Hazel A. (Davis) Burns. She attended Olden schools, and was a loyal employee of Eastland Memorial Hospital in the dietary department for 25 years. Mae Lynn was a member of Merriman Baptist Church.
She will be remembered for her happy and outgoing disposition, her heart of gold, and the fact that she was a friend to all who knew her. Mae Lynn loved books, solving crossword puzzles, sewing, and hand work. Her favorite flower was the sunflower, which represents happiness, suiting her well.
It should be mentioned she was a dog lover all throughout her life, and she is survived by her special fur baby, Charlee a miniature poodle. Mae Lynn is also survived by many friends who will miss her, especially her best friend, Janie Sholar.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
