Margie F. Hollander

Margie passed from this life on April 12, 2017, in the Comanche County Medical Center at the age of 79. She was born in Eastland, TX on June 13, 1937 and was the daughter of the late James Estell Franklin and Ada May “Langley” Franklin.
Margie was a graduate of Eastland High School and Cisco Jr. College. She worked as a bookkeeper in the area for many years including 20 years for Farm & Ranch Supply in Cisco and 12 years for IESI/Waste Management in Mineral Wells. Margie was a member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church in Comanche.
Margie is survived by her son, Dan Hollander and wife Debbie of Comanche; a daughter, Sheila Holmes of Comanche; 2 sisters-in-law; Cora Franklin and Nancy Kedren Franklin. Survivors also include four grandchildren; Dana Hollander, Stacy Roe and husband Jeff, Cory Pearson and Deidra Hollander along with seven great grandchildren; Kyleigh, Hayden, Kayden, Landen, Kynedie, Carley and Jessie.
Margie was preceeded in death by her parents; three brothers; Vernon, Boyd, and Carl Franklin; and one sister; Hazel Steddum.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 14th, at 3:00 pm in the Eastland Cemetery directed by Edwards Funeral Home.
