Margurite Irma Lee

Margurite Lee, 99 of Strawn went home to be with her Lord, October 5, 2014. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, October 8 at 10:00 AM at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Strawn. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6 – 8 PM. Burial will be at the Mt. Marion Cemetery in Strawn.
Margurite was born March 27, 1915 in Coleman Co., TX to Anderson and Linnie Mae Duke Briden. She married Bill W. Lee on Christmas Eve, 1943 and after 45 years of marriage he preceded her in death in 1983. Margurite was a homemaker who loved her children and family and was proud of each and every one of them. She also had a love for fishing and went every chance she could. She was also an accomplished seamstress and loved to sew. Margurite was a member of the First Christian Church.
Margurite was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband Bill. She is also preceded in death by a son David Lee, four sisters: Francis, Lucile, Inez and June and one brother Tommy.
She is survived by her son Billy Lee and wife Sandy of Azle, sister: Juanita Duncan, 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
