Maria Carmen Mendoza

Maria Carmen Mendoza, 80 of Eastland, passed away Thursday July 15, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Rosary will be said Friday at 7 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland. Mass will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church followed by burial in the Eastland City Cemetery.
She was born July 16, 1940 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Juan Mendoza and Gertrudis Savedra. She married Arturo Lopez. She was a homemaker and member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter; and 3 sons.
Survivors include her husband, Arturo Lopez; daughters, Leticia Esquivel and husband Jesus, Guillermina Esquivel and husband Fransisco, Maria Esquivel, Eva Lopez; sons, Arturo Lopez and wife Guillermina; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are: Alex Esquivel, Fabian Esquivel, Juan Lopez, Angel Esquivel Jr, Adrian Esquivel, Pablo Esquivel, Martin Esquivel, Jaime Esquivel, Gustavo Esquivel, and Christopher Lopez.
