Marilyn Lue Lively

Marilyn Lue Lively, 79 of Strawn, passed away Wednesday February 15, 2023 in Strawn. Visitation will be Friday, 5~7 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home. 215 E. Housley, Strawn, Tx. Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Edwards Funeral Home, 411 S. Mulberry, Eastland, Tx. Burial will follow in the Mt. Marion Cemetery in Strawn.
She was born September 14, 1943 in Lawton, OK to Roy E. Welch and Alma Lue Kennan Welch. She married Jimmy Lively on September 4, 1960 in Mineral Wells. She was a Pastor’s wife and had a servant’s heart. She enjoyed Ladies Retreats and Ladies Meetings. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Strawn. She had a passion for taking care of her daughters and grandchildren, as well as her dog, Dillon. Everyone that knew her loved her.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Lively; 4 daughters, Kathy Lue Lively, Kandy Jonker and husband Josh, Kamee Sanders, and Karen Gurbisz and husband Matthew; 9 grandchildren, Jeffrey, Kaitlyn, Kaylee, Cody Jayden, Kaiden, Colby, Michael, Kensey, and Peyton; 2 great-grandchildren, Ella Rose and Kian.
