Marion Nellene Talley

LONE CAMP – Marion Nellene Talley, age 80, of Lone Camp went home to be with her Lord Wednesday, May 12, 2021. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 18th at Lone Camp Community Center in Lone Camp, Texas; burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery.
Marion was born January 15, 1941 in Whiteface, Texas to Arque Overman and Nellie Marie Woods. She married Richard Gene Talley May 10, 1962 in Midland Texas, they moved to Reagan County Texas, living on several ranches before moving into Big Lake Texas till they moved to Lone Camp Texas. Nellene loved to spend time with her family and neighbors she also loved work and to stay busy as well as play card games. She was famous for her homemade rolls, which she baked dozens for family and neighbors at the holidays. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include son, Theron Talley; brother, Leo Proctor; sister, Maxine Negri; nephews, Mike and William Negri; grandson, Bryce Talley and wife Alyssa; and great grandchild, Weston Talley.
