Marjorie "Ann" Davis, 81, went to be with her Lord in Heaven, along with her son-in-law Tommy Martin, during the tornadoes in Granbury on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Graveside Services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Brock Cemetery in Brock, Texas. There will be a full memorial service as soon as her loving daughter is released from the hospital and strong enough to be a part of. Marjorie "Ann" Davis was born to the late Rev. James Otho Camp & the late Matilda Blanche Camp on Aug. 23, 1931 in Bowling Green, Ky. If ever God temporarily placed an Angel on Earth, she was one of them. Ann, being raised by a Southern Baptist preacher, could quote scriptures like no other. Ann was the most kind- hearted soul you could ever meet. She was always about love and forgiveness. God, family & friendship were everything to her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Ronald "Jack" Davis; her brother, Eddie Camp and infant granddaughter, Joy Lynn Martin. Ann is survived by six children: Jim & Sherry Davis of Akerman, MS; Betsy Martin of Granbury, TX; John & Suzy Davis of Odessa, TX; Carrie & Ronnie Swain of Monahans, TX; Randy & Becky Davis of Georgetown, TX; David & Kelly Davis of Odessa, TX; a brother, Jim Camp of Hendersonville, NC sister, Jean Ashby of Tehama, CA; and 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
