Mark is survived by his wife, Tish Lehman-Nash, his sons Zane Nash (Bailey Nash) and Keenan Nash (Bill Cogburn Jr.), his brothers Brian Nash (Cindy Nash) and Andrew Nash (Nancy Nash), his father-in-law Dale Lehman (Susie Lehman), His brothers-in-law Yosh Lehman (Traci Moseley) and Tosh Lehman, his grandson Lehman Nash and his "good boy", Stella. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Nash and Rosemary Hampton, his brother Christopher Nash and his Mother-in-law, Jan Lehman.
Mark was born on March 18th, 1962 in Kansas City, Missouri. He went straight into the Air Force out of high school and became an accomplished flight engineer. While visiting an Air Show in 1987, Mark met his best friend and the love of his life, Tish. They got married in 1988 and went on to raise the most amazing children, Zane and Keenan. After 23 years of military service, Mark went on to get his pilot's license and continued to fly all over the world doing what he loved. He was an avid airman and flew for various companies to include Express.net, Kalitta, and Southern Air, meeting several life-long friends along the way. When Mark wasn't flying he was spending time with his family and dogs at the lake and at the ranch.
Mark loved his family, his friends, flying, and firearms. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed rooting for the Permian Panthers, Texas Rangers, and San Antonio Spurs. He was also a self-loathing Dallas Cowboys fan. Aside from his boys, Mark's pride and joy was his 1967 Pontiac GTO.
Despite suffering from a stroke in 2017, Mark never lost his quick-witted sense of humor. His speech and mobility were greatly affected yet he still continued living life to the fullest. During his recovery, he found hope and a sense of normalcy at the West Texas Aphasia Center. The center was a place were he could truly be understood and not judged for his speech. This was invaluable to us and in lieu of flowers we are requesting donations be made in Mark's honor. We would also like to thank Enhabit Home Health and Alpha Omega Hospice, both of Eastland, Texas, for their support of our family and for maintaining the dignity of Mark during the most difficult time in his life.
