Marvin O. Procter

Marvin O. Procter left this world Saturday, June 18, 2016. Service will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 20th at the First Baptist Church in Gordon, Texas; burial will follow in New Home Cemetery in Lone Camp, Texas. Marvin was born to Wanzer Procter and Nettie Mayhar Procter in Erath County, Texas.
Marvin attended school in Breckenridge, Texas; he married Nancy Boone December 19, 1951 in Oro Grande, California and was a self-employed dozier operator, farmer, and grandfather.
He loved to hunt, fish, farm, run his dozier, and loved his family. Those that will miss him most are his wife, Nancy, four sons; Marvin and wife Alycia, James and wife Debbie, John Paul, and Bradley; two daughters, Nancy Walker and husband Joe and Christie and husband Greg Gordon; one sister, Mary Ash, 21 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Tommy, two brothers, Boyce and Charles, and twin sisters, Imogene and Kathlene, and grandson, Skyler.
