Mary H. Bott, 84 of Ranger, passed away Tuesday August 15, 2017 at her home in Ranger. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 19th, at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Ranger. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Mary was born on January 14, 1933 in Carbon to Parris and Alice (Harper) Hanson and attended Eastland Public School. She married Ted Bott on January 16, 1986 in Eastland. Mary lived in the Ranger Community for many years, where she was a farmer and rancher. She attended the Eastside Baptist Church and was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW 29925 and VFW Post 4136 in Eastland.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Bill Hanson and Jack Hanson and two sisters; Myrel Ford and Lee Nix. She is survived by daughter, Dolores Subia of Dallas Oregon; son, Lloyd De Los Santos of Stockton California; brothers; Bobby Hanson of Midland, TX and J.D. Hanson of Midland, TX; and sister, Pauline Whatley of Stanton, TX. Mary is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
