Mary Lou Crenshaw, age 82, a longtime resident of Ranger passed away Thursday, May1, 2014 after a length at Eastland Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mary was born to Julius and Nancy Heath on December 3, 1931, in Brad, TX. She married Olen W. Crenshaw, July 12, 1948 and the couple lived in Mingus for several years before moving to Ranger in 1955. Mary worked for Vassarett sewing factory for 22 years and Greer’s Dept. Store for 32. She was a member of Ranger Citizens Task Force and First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Olen Crenshaw, her parents; brothers; Cecil & Everett Stedman, and sister Louise Parmenter. Survivors include Son, James Crenshaw and wife Joanne of Eastland; Daughter, Phyllis Thompson and husband, Tom of Eastland; Grandchildren, Kimberly Edwards and husband Eddie; Angie Irwin and husband Jeff; Jennifer Crenshaw; Sandra Sanders and Mario Hernandez; Great-Grandchildren, Ashleigh Staggs, Hannah Edwards, Makynna and Madison Irwin; Erica and Daniel Rowden and Great-Great Granddaughter; Kayleigh Staggs and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Visitation will be at Edwards Funeral Home in Ranger Monday, May 5th from 9:30 - 11:30 am with services following at 1:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Ranger with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Ranger. Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Ranger Citizens Task Force or First Baptist Church, Ranger.
