She was a member of the Daugherty Street Church of Christ for many years where she planned funeral meals and visited with widows in local nursing homes.
She enjoyed cooking and sewing and was well known to friends and family for her pecan, pumpkin, and chocolate pies.
We wish to extend our appreciation to the employees of Coronado Nursing Center for the excellent care she received there. We especially want to thank Becky & Matt who helped Mary and the family through the last hours of her life, Big Country Hospice Care who made her passing as painless as possible, and most of all Dr. Sandy Hazelip who was a friend and physician for 30 years and who was with her and her family at the end of her life. We love you Sandy.
