Mary "Maria" Lynn Schadewald
April 1, 1947 — April 6, 2019
Mary L. Schadewald, aka Maria or Gito, age 72, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2019, in Eastland. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Local arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Eastland.
Mary was born April 1, 1947, in Hawthorne, CA to George Schadewald and Elsie Schadewald.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a niece, Angela Rose Schadewald who passed away at the age of 5.
She is survived by daughter, Denise Longson of Eastland; granddaughter, Alana Longson Cox; and siblings, Georgia Martinson, Cathy Parkin, Sharon Faltin, Cynthia Keppel, Michele Tempel, Annette Shadewald, and Eugene Schadewald all of Minnesota, and many nieces and nephews.
Her passion was animals and helping others; everyone loved “Ma”. She was a card and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice in Mary's name.
