Mary Ruth Thomason

Graveside Services for Mary Ruth Bolen Thomason, age 94 of Granbury will be held 10:30 am, Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Mount Marion Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Bowers officiating.

Mary Ruth Bolen Thomason passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at her residence. She was born on March 23, 1921 in Strawn, Texas the daughter of Willie Everet Bolen and Stella Bolen. Mary attended Tarleton State University and was a retired executive administrative assistant. She worked for Acme Brick Company, General Dynamics, and the Granbury Police Department, among others.

Survivors include: Grandchildren Kimberley Reiser, Leah Moss, Samantha Denton, Kelly Davis, and James “Dusty” Moore; great-grandchildren Michael Schmieder, Alayna Moore, Maddy Moss, Austen Moss, Jeffrey Davis, Samuel Davis, Thomas Davis, and Joseph Davis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, A.N. “Jack” Thomason; her father, Willie Everet Bolen; her mother, Stella Bolen; her brothers Derrell Richard Bolen, Ernest Eldon Bolen, and Frances Andrew Bolen; her daughter, Jacquelyn Sue Moore; and her son, Ronnie Lynn Thomason.
