Maximo "Juan" Abreu

EASTLAND – Juan Abreu, age 66, passed away on February 24, 2014. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday February 27th at Bakker Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Romney Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 at the funeral home.
Maximo “Juan” Abreu was born on December 27, 1947 to Martin Abreu and Anatina Lorenzo in Las Villas, Cuba. He met his future wife Pearl Rich at church and they were married on January 26, 1992 in Eastland, TX. Juan liked horses, his tractor and doing yard work. He was a very special person that was known for being kind hearted and a hard worker. He will be deeply missed by his many friends and all who knew and loved him.
Juan was preceded in death by his wife Pearl.
He is survived by his step-son Charles & Nina Graham of Springtown; his step-daughters Joyce Elmore of Eastland and Bonnie Williams of Carbon; thirteen grandchildren, thirty four great-grandchildren, twenty great-great grandchildren and several siblings in Cuba.
